Bandcamp (purchase) Individual Song Breakdowns --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About the EP: While awaiting the balance of the remaining tracks for ‘Projects III’ (my next solo record) from the various session musicians, I started writing some singles. I did this mainly as an exercise, to continue to challenge my developing voice, since the record that follows will be my first full-on vocally-driven release. It was a lot of fun and I began learning so much about my voice that I wrote six in total. Composed, recorded, and mixed in as many weeks, ‘Dotty Ditties, Volume 1(?)’ is the result of this learning process. These songs aren’t really meant to be taken seriously. In fact, there’s a comedic element—usually quite conspicuous—in all of ‘em. However, they weren’t designed to be that way, it just sorta happened naturally. I think I just confused myself.
