About the EP:

Composition for this one began in November of 2022, following a too-brief vacation in New Orleans. I had several bass riffs in the bank, along with some general ideas/concepts. I’d also purchased a 3-octave ‘desktop’ xylophone and sought to integrate it. I didn’t track the vocals—also knocking out the vocals for DD6 within the same two(ish)-week period—until May of the following year. I really challenged myself, overdubbing anywhere from one additional track to moments of nearly twenty voices. For this reason, I chose not to film the vocal portion for the YouTube stream of the EP. I had to do everything over ad nauseam until it was—or felt—right, anyway.

Thank you to my fans, friends, associates, and family; especially my mother for her perpetual support and my neighbors for putting up with all of the racket. Also, thank you to my endorsements: Pearl Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Remo drumheads, Vic Firth drumsticks, RTOM drum accessories, Vratim drum shoes, and E-Pad! Practice Pads.

Cover Art Construction

Resuming the theme of holding a cheap, homemade sign/title card while obscuring my face, I took a few pictures, severely distorted them with Glitché, played around with the color balance, and further manipulated the image until it felt disturbingly complete.
