Drumheads
I endorse Remo drumheads. This list -- especially -- evolves (be sure to peruse the video descriptions, as I commonly list specific heads), but these are some of my favorites:

tom-toms: clear or coated Vintage Emperor / clear Emperor
snare drums: Controlled Sound X, Black X / Ambassador snare-side
bass drums: coated Powerstroke III (with a double mini Falam Slam) / logo head or Powerstroke III Ebony (resonant head is usually ported and there's a bit of 'stuffing' inside of the drum)

I tune my drums depending on the genre of music that I'm recording. I try to match the pitch of each lug, and -- generally -- the overall tuning of both the batter and resonant heads for maximum resonance. I control said resonance with Moon Gel, usually on both the batter and resonant sides of the heads.

Drumsticks
I play Vic Firth Ralph Hardimon SRH2 'Hammer' Corpsmaster drumsticks. I've also used Pro-Mark drumstick/mallet combos, Hot Rods, and Vic Firth Rutes and wire brushes for sessions. I also have a pair of hand-wrapped Adam Argullin mallets.

Bass Drum Pedals (specific settings, etc.)
I play the Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive P3002D double pedal, in the longboard configuration, with an ACD Unlimited Ultimate Drive Shaft. My spring tension is maxed out with the 'power' and 'heavy' settings engaged. I utilize Pearl QuadBeaters (felt side) and they rest about six inches from the head -- hitting close to the center of a 20" bass drum -- with the BW100 beater weights attached at the top of the shaft. Depending on the music, I may opt for my VicKick fleece beater instead of the QuadBeaters.
